Returns and the right of withdrawal
What you may send back, when, who pays the postage, and the one case where the 14-day right does not exist.
Your 14-day right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer buying at a distance in the EU, you may withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The period runs from the day you, or someone you name other than the carrier, take physical possession of the goods. If an order is delivered in several parts, it runs from the last part.
To withdraw, tell us before the 14 days are up. Any clear statement is enough — an email to hello@plastic-room.com saying you withdraw, with your order number, does it. You may use the model form further down, but you do not have to. Sending the goods back without a word is not a withdrawal notice, so write first.
Made to order is not the same as personalised
Everything in this shop is printed after you order it. That on its own does NOT take your withdrawal right away.
EU law (Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(c), transposed into the Lithuanian Civil Code) removes the right only for goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised. We draw that line as follows.
The 14-day right APPLIES to a catalogue item printed in one of the colours, plastics and layer heights this shop offers to everyone. You picked from a fixed list; nothing about the item was specified by you, so it is not personalised.
The 14-day right DOES NOT APPLY to:
- an item printed from a model you supplied;
- an item we resized, altered or made to your measurements;
- an item carrying your text, name, logo or other personalisation;
- an item in a colour or material we bought in specially at your request.
If your order falls in that second group we tell you so in writing before you pay, and your order confirmation repeats it. If you are not sure which group your order is in, ask us before you order rather than after.
The legal guarantee below is not affected either way: a faulty print is a faulty print whether it was personalised or not.
Sending the goods back
Send the goods back without undue delay and in any case within 14 days of the day you told us you withdraw.
Return address: [[ЗАПОЛНИТЬ: почтовый адрес для возвратов]].
You pay the direct cost of returning the goods. We do not charge a restocking fee.
You may unpack the item and handle it as you would in a shop. If you handle it beyond what is needed to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning — mounting it, drilling it, sanding, painting or gluing it — we may reduce your refund by the loss in value that causes.
Your refund
We refund every payment we received from you, including the cost of delivering the goods to you. If you chose a delivery option more expensive than our cheapest standard one, we refund the cheapest standard one.
We refund within 14 days of the day we are informed of your decision, using the same means of payment you used. The refund costs you nothing.
We may hold the refund back until we have the goods, or until you show proof that you sent them, whichever happens first.
Model withdrawal form
Complete and return this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract.

- Signature (only if this form is sent on paper):

Faulty, damaged or wrong goods
Withdrawal is not the route for a defect, and you are not limited to 14 days for one.
Under the legal guarantee of conformity you have two years from delivery to complain about goods that are faulty, damaged in transit, or not what you ordered. What you can ask for is set out in our Terms.
Write to hello@plastic-room.com with your order number and a photograph. For a conformity claim we pay the return postage; you never have to argue with the carrier on our behalf.
If we cannot agree
Write to us first at hello@plastic-room.com. We answer complaints within [[ЗАПОЛНИТЬ: срок ответа на претензию, например 14 дней]].
If that does not settle it, a consumer resident in Lithuania may ask the State Consumer Rights Protection Authority (Valstybinė vartotojų teisių apsaugos tarnyba, www.vvtat.lt) to resolve the dispute out of court, free of charge. A consumer resident in another EU country may apply to the equivalent alternative dispute resolution body there.
The European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform closed on 20 July 2025, so there is no ODR link to give you.
None of this takes away your right to go to court.
